VBL Innovations Limited is manufacturing high quality leather watch straps in India. VBL is a growing company whose products have gained reputation and respect in the Indian market due to their fresh and innovative initiatives. We are based in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India and also the hub of Watch Industries in India. Our first factory was set up in 1996 with Swiss collaboration and is equipped with some of the best of machines from Switzerland and Italy. VBL is one of the youngest and fast growing companies of the Saboo Business Group who are associated with the watch trade. We are well-known for quality, timely delivery of products and cost effective prices. We also export to countries like Russia, Poland and European market.

VBL employs around 125 people and does not employ child labourers. All personnel employed are trained and qualified. We have on our rolls, engineers, qualified in leather technology. We also have a special team focused on development of leather, its products, designs etc.

There is stringent quality processing and they include the following:

Sourcing : The basic raw material is finished leather, which is sourced from the best of tanneries in the world i.e. Italy, Brazil, Bangladesh, China and India. This leather comes in varied patterns, finishes, colors and these tanneries adhere to international standards.

Buckle is the other important component of the watch strap and are procured from recognized international quality suppliers from Hong Kong namely Jasper, Mingfu etc and also from Indian manufacturers. All buckles are nickel free and anti-allergic.

We also source alternate materials such as denim, fabric, rubber-based material from China and India to meet the demands of customers in the fashion category.

Incoming Quality : VBL has a standard quality processes for inspection of all incoming materials, besides certification from the suppliers for the quality parameters adherence as stipulated in purchase orders. All incoming material is subjected to stringent quality check/inspection, including any special test required by our customers for leather, buckle or any other material.

Testing : We have set up a state-of-art lab testing facility for testing of incoming leather. Some of machines are wet rub testing machine, flex testing machine, pull off test gauge etc. Besides we are also a member of Central Leather Institute of India who have strong infrastructure and facility for carrying out in-depth chemical analysis / testing of finished products.

In process Quality : VBL has a structured and documented quality process of quality controls at various stages of operation. The finished straps are inspected not only for aesthetics but also need to follow the SQL plan for dimensional adherences.

Outgoing QC : Besides strong in process quality control checks, the finished straps are subjected to stringent quality check at the final stage for ensuring strict adherence to customer specifications and aesthetic appearance. An elaborate process and documentation is established for the final quality control.

For the moulds / tooling, tool room is established in the Saboo Business Group. Moreover Bangalore, where our factory is located, has very good infrastructure and facilities for the development of moulds dies and tooling. The company has built up an arrangement for quick development of moulds, dies etc from simple tools to intricate sophisticated moulds / dies / tooling.

Techniques : VBL has over the years built a strong and trained work force that handcrafts high-quality leather watch straps. We are equipped with stitching machines and are capable of giving the best stitching effects of various designs on the leather watch straps.
